The American Iron and Steel Institute’s Mission is to influence public policy, educate and shape public opinion in support of a strong, sustainable U.S. and North American steel industry committed to manufacturing products that meet society’s needs. The American steel industry is recognized for its favorable environmental, health and safety performance.
CAL/APEC-Bay Area Council Economic Institute
The APEC 2011 California Host Committee, or CalAPEC, is the local host committee for APEC 2011 talks. It is a statewide coalition of business, government, and international organizations under the umbrella of the Bay Area Council Economic Institute and the California Chamber of Commerce.
California Manufacturers & Technology Association The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (formerly the California Manufacturers Association) works to improve and enhance a strong business climate for California's 30,000 manufacturing, processing and technology based companies. CMTA represents businesses from the entire manufacturing community -- an economic sector that generates more than $250 billion every year and employs more than 1.5 million Californians.
Chamber of Commerce-California
California Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber) is a not-for-profit organization committed to helping California businesses survive and thrive while complying with complex laws and regulations. For more than 120 years, CalChamber has worked to make California a better place to do business by giving private-sector employers a voice in state politics and providing a full range of California-specific products and services.
Contra Costa Council
The Contra Costa Council is a public policy advocacy organization that promotes the economic vitality and quality of life of Contra Costa County and the San Francisco Bay Area region. The Council engages on issues of critical importance to the business community and residents of the County, balancing the needs of a diverse County through policy efforts that provide for local and regional economic development while retaining quality of life.
Metals Service Center Institute
The Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI) is a trade association that supports and represents most elements of the metals value chain, including metals producers, distributors, and processors and, to a lesser extent, the interests of metals users. MSCI has more than 350 members operating from about 1,200 locations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and elsewhere around the world. National Corrugated Steel Pipe Association Established in 1956, NCSPA seeks to promote sound public policy relating to the use of corrugated steel drainage structures in private and public construction. It collects and distributes technical information; assists public and private agencies in the formulation of specifications and designs; encourages greater knowledge of corrugated steel pipe's benefits and uses among college engineering students; and conducts seminars to increase awareness of the product and its application among specifiers.
Steel Tube Institute
Our objectives are to promote the growth and competitiveness of North America's steel tubular products industry, to enhance tubular manufacturing techniques, and to inform consumers about the utility and versatility of steel tube and pipe.
Wildlife Habitat Council
The Wildlife Habitat Council is a nonprofit, non-lobbying 501(c)(3) group of corporations, conservation organizations, and individuals dedicated to restoring and enhancing wildlife habitat. Through a focus on building collaboration for conservation with corporate employees, other conservation organizations, government agencies and community members, Council programs focus on healthy ecosystems and connected communities.
